The rotor pump is also known as the Roots pump, colloid pump, high-concentration slurry pump, etc. It relies on two rotating rotors that move synchronously, and is driven by an external synchronous gearbox. The rotors rotate in opposite directions synchronously under the drive of the transmission shaft, thereby achieving a high vacuum degree and discharge pressure. The two rotors divide the rotor chamber into several small spaces and operate in the sequence of Ⅰ→Ⅱ→Ⅲ→Ⅳ. When it reaches position Ⅰ, only the inlet is filled with the medium; when it reaches position Ⅱ, part of the medium is enclosed in the Ⅱ chamber; when it reaches position Ⅲ, the medium is enclosed in the Ⅲ chamber; when it reaches position Ⅳ, the two rotors conjugate and the volume at the outlet decreases, and the enclosed medium is transported to the discharge pipeline. Through such a repetitive cycle, the medium is continuously discharged.

All the components in this pump that come into contact with the transported materials are made of stainless steel that meets hygiene standards. The sealing parts are made of non-toxic rubber. The reliable rust-proof property and non-toxic sealing feature ensure safety and hygiene.
The streamlined structure of the rotor and the absence of dead points and waste metal parts in the rotor chamber prevent any contamination of the substances being transported.

It can convey mixed materials of gas, liquid and solid phases. The viscosity of the medium it can convey can be as high as 1,000,000 CP and the solid content of the slurry can reach up to 55%.
